Blender Tutorial 11 awesome addons you should Know
(Best place to start is toolbar)
Reshape selected UV faces (quads) to grid of either:
or by respect to shape
Align sequenced vertices on axis (X or Y axis is determined by slope automatically) :
make them equally distanced
Rip faces Join selected vertices to any closest unselected vertices
[grid]/[aligning] is alt + [E]
Rip faces is alt + [V]
Join vertices is shift + alt + [V]
Here is a selection of 11 addons that will make your life easier in Blender.
2.Align to grease pencil
A small script I made after realizing that I spend so much time doing this manually when modelling organic stuff. I imagine it can be useful when doing hard surface as well.
Aligns the selected vertices to a grease pencil stroke, all in screen space.
3. Bool Tool 0.2 What’s New
This is the newest version of the BoolTool add-on and have a huge improvement in many areas. BoolTool is a addon to speedup the workflow of Hard Surface Modelling using Boolean operations in Blender 2.7x
When enable this option in Add-on preferences your G/R/S hotkeys will be replaced for a custom one that can handle objects visibility and boolean modifiers before and after the transform operation to give a fast transform when using boolean operations. It only works good when handling high poly brush, if you try to use it in a low poly brush when another high poly brush is applyied it will be sloow yet since we have a bad depsgraph limitation with that kind of stuff.
Node Wrangler addon in full detail. This is a very useful addon if you present/share your .blends or if you have complicated materials and/or like perfect organization.

Based on the wonderful code by Thomas Luft & his original IvyGen program. http://graphics.uni-konstanz.de/~luft/ivy_generator/ Original blender port by testscreenings, furthur advances by PKHG, maintained by truman
7.Blender MultiEdit add-on ALPHA 2
Download the .zip file from this link:
Just go to user preferences, add-ons, install add-on, select the .zip file, check the box next to the MultiEdit add-on and you’re good to go!
Please help me make it better by testing it and sharing feedback.
I hope you find it useful 😀
Andrew Price mentioned in one of his tutorials it would come in handy to have a floor board generator like in some other modelling packages so I put together a simple one. It generates real (but simple) geometry, complete with thickness (by way of the solidify modifier) and bevels (also with a modifier).

Blender Scripts Modeling F2
F2 (also known as the ‘spider-script’) extends Blender native functionality of creating faces. It allows you to create a face from a single vertex selection or a single edge selection, while retaining all the built-in functionality. Simply enable the add-on, and pressing the F-key will be better than ever before
10. Sapling Tree Blender
Blender Tutorial 11 awesome addons you should Know Modelling realistic trees can be a difficult task, especially if a large number of similar trees with small variations are required. This addon uses the method developed by Jason Weber and Joseph Penn in their paper “Creation and Rendering of Realistic Trees” to easily create a wide variety of trees. Using curves as the basis of construction allows dynamic geometry which can be changed depending on the level of detail required.
In this video I go over how to use the awesome Sapling tree generator addon in Blender. It’s really easy to make loads of different trees, and I also show you how to create a range of different trees and spread them over a plane to make a forest-ey thing.
You can get Blender 2.70 here(just select your OS then extract the zip and run the Blender.EXE file inside :D):http://download.blender.org/release/
